HOW JOINT AID WORKS
Glucosamine and chondroitin are both natural components of the cartilage and synovial fluid. They are important for the lubrication and health of the joint. A healthy joint can resist compression from external wear and tear better.
WHAT THE RESEARCH SAYS
Osteoarthritis happens because of joint degeneration and a loss of joint cartilage. With increasing wear and tear, it gradually leads to degradation of the collagen and proteoglycan molecules. This causes synovial inflammation and therefore cartilage degradation. There was evidence that glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin had shown effectiveness in the treatment of osteoarthritis which may result in joint stiffness and soreness[2,3].
